Opportunities & Extra-curricular Programs
Schools Spectacular Hip Hop Ensemble for Stage 5-6 students @ Qudos Bank Arena. APHS has been involved in Spec since 2010 - 2019. Spec has been instrumental in the development of our students’ dance training & careers & thus, has featured our male students in the DEC Arts Unit’s State Dance Festival and Urban Dance Crew. NB: Schools Spec has been suspended due to Covid.
Celebrating the Arts Festival @ Parramatta Riverside Theatre 2010 - 2019. This is a regional initiative which celebrates the talents of Primary & Secondary schools within the Parramatta region. Dance students in stage 4-6 are involved in this initiative. NB: CTA has been suspended due to Covid.
APHS Performing Arts night @ Parramatta Riverside Theatre has been the highlight of the CAPA calendar since 2011 - 2016. This night showcases CAPA performing arts students in all years. We are hopeful in the coming years to showcase the talents of CAPA students.

Excursions to ONSTAGE & CALLBACK - Showcase of exemplary HSC works @ Seymour Centre.
Belvoir Theatre partnership - Free workshops for HSC IP & GP components.
Industry professionals - Providing workshops to students & additional support for HSC DANCE MAJOR PERFORMANCE students.
TheatreSports Competition - Improv game competition for Stage 6 Drama students. APHS placed 3rd in their region in May, 2018.
