Arthur Phillip High School is proud of the educational opportunities available at our school for High Potential and Gifted students. The Department of Education defines High Potential and Gifted Students as students whose potential exceeds that of their peers in one of the domains of potential.
The four domains of potential are academic, physical, socio-emotional and creative.
There are a number of curricular and extra-curricular offerings at the school.
Curricular:
QUEST PROGRAM:
Arthur Phillip High School runs a QUEST class dedicated to the needs of High Potential and Gifted Students. Dedicated teachers differentiate the curriculum for greater challenge and interest of the students involved.
For entry in the QUEST class in year 7 2026, applications are now open. For students entering the school after year 7, these will be dealt with during the enrolment process. For application information see the section below.
ELITE ATHLETE PROGRAM:
In 2026 Arthur Phillip High School is offering an Elite Athlete Program for the first time. These students will be grouped together for PE and Sport and participate in tailored athlete talent development programs.
